It is really an easy class but you have to set deadlines for yourself. I signed up for it during the winter intersession which started at the end of november. Well I'm still at it because I was slacking lol Prof B. gives no deadlines other than by what day the final needs to be done. It has like 40 interactive modules or so and a quiz for each of them, plus midterm and final. The questions are directly from the modules. Make sure to complete the tets yourself because questions are from there as well. Lot's of listening questions as well, so make sure you listen to all the examples. So you can take as much or as little time as you want. That is at least how it was for me.
The CD was the only thing that came. I did not use the cd at all, it just has all the listening examples on there which are also in the online course. What I had to purchase was a connect4education online course that Prof B was using. It is a different portal to sign in and complete your modules at. There was no book for the course. Maybe you are taking it with somebody else??
I took it last quarter with Prof B. Super easy class! It did require a book. The book came with a CD, which I did not use. The book has a code in it that you enter in blackboard, where instructed, and you can listen to the exercises from blackboard, without going to another site. If you read and do the exercises, you'll do fine on the tests. I am soooo not musically inclined and did fine.
Did you guys take it online or in a classroom?
I'm wondering how hard the online class would be. I've pretty much ruled out Fasion & Culture because it just seems way to hard, demanding, and time consuming. I'm debating between music, and intro to arts for my next general education class.
