MUSC Accelerated BSN 2018

Hey, I'm planning to apply to MUSC for the spring of 2018. I was wondering if anyone else is planning to apply as well? Also those who were accepted into the program already in the previous semesters, could you share what your grades were?

Hi all!

I called on Friday afternoon and found out I was accepted!!! I am still in shock and just waiting for my letter because I still don't believe it! I am currently in WA state and will be leaving my husband (and likely our two dogs) in WA while I complete the program. It will be difficult but we have done long distance before (he's Air Force). So, I have a couple of questions for y'all:

1. Anyone need a roomie?

2. Anyone need a roomie with a goldendoodle puppy? We just got her and I kind of want to bring her with.... :)

3. Does anyone have any idea if I would qualify for in state tuition since my husband is AF and we're only in WA because of his most recent orders. We're from VA but I've had a few spouses tell me it doesn't matter where our residence is, and I should always qualify for in state tuition. Not sure if there is any truth to this.

4. When do classes start?

I can't wait to meet everyone who got accepted! For those of you still waiting, do not give up hope! I just got waitlisted for an ADN program in WA and was super down on myself, and now realize that it happened for a reason.

Hello! Congrats to all of those who have been accepted, I have officially paid my deposit and I am so excited to begin this new chapter into my future career! I believe that orientation in January 2nd, following classes starting January 3rd! It wouldn't hurt to try to apply for in-state tuition, but for myself I even had to prove my residency via taxes, etc and I have been a resident for 4 years. Does anyone know if there is a Facebook page made for our cohort?

I am also interested to know if there's a Facebook page for our cohort! Deposit is paid and I'm ready to go :) just hoping for some financial aid....has anyone heard anything from financial aid? I just submitted my FAFSA a couple of days ago.

Does MUSC require a GRE for their ABSN program or can one apply without a GRE score?

My friends who are in the ABSN program in different cohorts told me that someone from their class made the fb page! I am still waiting back to hear from financial aid too! I saw online that typically for the program since it's a second bachelors program FAFSA only gives ~$5,000 or so which is kind of a bummer. And regarding the GRE, this cohort and previous cohorts did not need the GRE to apply!

Nevermind. I found it on their website.

"No pre-admission testing is required, such as the GRE, SAT, or TEAS."

Hi there, I know this is a little late in your thread, but I am applying for their fall start. I was hoping some of you could share your stats such as GPA, and where you are from. Trying to gather my chances of getting in.
