MUSC Accelerated BSN

Does anyone know if this is a good program? I'm thinking about applying for it for Fall '08, but I don't know anyone who has gone to the school. I would love to know anything from quality of faculty to design of the program to how difficult it is to get accepted. Do most people who start the program graduate? Does anyone work during the program? Really anything would be very appreciated!

Congrats EmtDD! I called today and have been accepted as well :) I was told that letters were sent out Friday, so everyone should receive theirs soon.

Congratulations wishful12 and EmtDD! :) For those that are interested, I talked with MUSC today and there are 30 alternates. They are not ranked... so basically when a spot opens, they go back to the alternate applications. Good luck to all!

I got my letter yesterday! I made it in!! Congrats to my fellow class of 2013 and good luck to all the alternates!! I wish all of you could make it!

Is there anyone accepted out of the state? and what was the cumulative GPA score?

I am from North Carolina... these are my stats

Associates Degree in Science

-EMT-B state licence

-American Heart Association CPR &AED Certified

-FEMA Introduction to Incident Management

-FEMA Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents

My Cumulative GPA 3.58

and prereq is a 3.9

I have numerous academic awards ranging from

-Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and colleges 2010

-Received the North Carolina academic excellence award from the governor of North Carolina 2010 -Regional vice president of North Carolina for Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society

And a ton of volunteer experience

So, have you ever repaeted any course?

How did you calculated your Cumulative GPA?

I did not know MUCS accepts AS degrees for their Accelerated BSN program.

Also, you got awesome Back ground as an EMT.
