MUSC Accelerated BSN fall 2017

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hey, all. Just wanted to start a thread for those who have applied and waiting to hear about acceptance and also any current students who have words of wisdom or experience getting in.

I just applied in December, and I'm anxiously waiting to hear back; my science GPA and overall GPA are around 3.6-3.7. I've been a social worker in addiction and medical settings for about 10 years, so, I have of patient care experience but no 'hands-on' patient care experience unfortunately.

Good luck to everyone!

I'm too scared to call. I cant do it.

Same! I'm just going to wait for the letter, a couple more days won't kill me. I'll call if I don't find out by friday

I can't either

Me neither. :( I'm just gonna wait for the mail. It can't take to long for a letter to get from downtown to West Ashley...hopefully.

Welp I didn't get in. Good luck to you guys though.

I got the news today that I was accepted!! Good Luck to everyone and see you at orientation.

@navynurse83 did you call or get a letter? Trying to judge when the mail will get to johns island

Just want to say CONGRATS to those who got accepted! I look forward to meeting you all in August. For those who did not get accepted...DON'T give up! Apply again in December and in the mean time build your application back up. Get those patient hours, look for jobs at MUSC, and most importantly....NETWORK! Tell EVERYONE about your plans because you never know who might know someone that can really help you.

I sent in my deposit and the required paperwork. Does anyone know what happens next?

I was wondering that too...I'm guessing they will send a confirmation email saying everything was received then I guess just wait until orientation.

I read though the student handbook they have online and it was saying that uniforms, registration, and most of the other things we need to do will be addressed at the mini orientation. Hopefully they will send more information before the mini session though!!
