Multistate licensing for telephonic nursing

How many nurses do telephonic nursing in multiple states but are licensed only in the state in which they live?

It is not dependent on what others are doing but what the specific requirements are for the states that you would be covering. Each state is able to set their own requirements and you need to abide by that.

Most that I know of hold licenses for each of the states that they are covering. This is when the compact license would be good if it is available for the states that you are covering. One of the reasons that it was designed. Otherwise, you will need a license for each of those states in most cases.

Same thing for those that do transport regularly between two states, they are under separate jurisdictions and EMS providers.
