Multicare hospitals -- call back?

Published

Hey all,

just applied to a few multicare residencies at tacoma general and auburn medical.

wondering what the process and expected time frame for call backs are

anyone has experience with the nurse residency programs there?

would appreciate any advice:)

Hi delridge,

How did everything turn out? I also applied to one residency position in Auburn Medical Center, all I got so far is an automated email saying my app has been forwarded to the hiring manager. What kind of questions should I expect if they do call me for an interview? Any tips/suggestions for the hiring process are much appreciated, thanks! =)

I got the same e-mail, but I applied to a residency in Convington, WA. Good Luck!! Let me know how it goes for you... I'm pretty excited cause I never got forwarded to the hiring manager before lol. I'm guessing its cause my RN license is finally Active.

I got an interview at Auburn Regional, even before my license was active. I'm telling you, you HAVE to bug HR :-)

Congrats Auburn-RN which unit? Im starting one of the Aug 12th residencies and it'd be nice to know some people going in! Hope everything has gone well for everyone else on this post too!

I'm so happy to know that Auburn was bought out by Multi Care. I worked there for 16 years under UHS and it was a nightmare. I hear it is a much better place to work.

Med surg, sounds like we will be in orientation at the same time!

What unit will you be on?

Congratulations thats so exciting! I'll be in the PCU. Orientation is coming up fast, can't wait!

Hi guys,

I have an interview with MultiCare for a PCU Residency at Tacoma General. I see that all of you guys have recently interviewed for MultiCare residencies and was curious what kinds of questions you got, especially nxchel14 since you are in the PCU :) I've interviewed for a couple of residencies and it was the typical why do you want to become a nurse, why this hospital, why this unit, describe a difficult patient, describe a conflict you've had and how you handled it, etc. I'm just not sure if anybody has experienced questions where they give you a scenario and you have to explain how you would handle it? Or what questions you got that kind of took you by surprise?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
