I just applied to the nursing program for spring 2015! Just wondering if there was anybody else out there to share the nervousness with! Haha I previously applied for the fall and did not get in, so I am really nervous this time. I brought my GPA up from a 3.3 to a 3.5 and my HESI score went up from an 83 to a 91! Last time I got a 3.5 on my interview so maybe I can bring that up as well! I'd love to hear when you all get called for your interview! Good luck!

I interviewed yesterday. I was told we would know a decision by priorty registration and priorty registration begins Nov 10. Anyone know when the last interview day is?

I am trying to get all my prereqs done so that I can apply to the Fall 2015 semester! I am so bad at interviews! What was it like?? Any advice & like what kind of questions they asked you would be so much appreciated! So nervous and I haven't even applied yet!

They asked what you think it means to be a professional nurse, what your strengths are, what the best constructive criticism you have ever received is, and some more similar questions. My interview was a train wreck, but not because of anything the interviewers did. I just have a ridiculous fear of interviews, auditions, or anything like that. I don't know what it is, but I can usually control it and be fine. Bad timing for a panic attack. I totally blanked at my interview and came off like a bumbling idiot. Oh well. There's nothing to be done for it now. I am just praying I wasn't the most nervous person they interviewed. Haha. In any case, they were very nice, and most people would probably be as comfortable as possible when talking to the ladies who interviewed me. I am having a tough time not beating myself up for bombing so hard. I have a good gpa and good test score though, so I hope that will carry me. I realistically think I may not get in solely based on the interview, though. It was that bad...

I just realized my post might psyche everyone else out... The intents wad nothing scary. The ladies asking questions were super nice and they joked about how everyone gets nervous at these things. On any other day, I would have been fine and killed it. So please don't be nervous. I am sure you will all do fine.

My interview was with a woman and a man. I am so anxious to hear my result. Are they interviewing this entire week and sending out acceptance and rejections only next week? And its going to our mtsu email right? She told me but I can't quite remember exactly bc of all the nerves. I am dying to know. I can't get any sleep cause its all i think about.

Tomorrow is the last day for interviews. The emails come through the mtsu email. Did anyone else hear that there were only 67 people that got interviews? I heard this from a couple of different people, but idk who they heard that from. I am so nervous to find out.

I may sound stupid but don't they accept like 63 students? I heard that number somewhere..

Yea, it's 62 or 64 (who are accepted) I can't remember

Yeah there are 64 accepted and 20 Alternates. I have no idea if that number or 67 interviews is true or if it's just hear say. I was just curious if anyone else had heard that.

I hadn't heard that. Now I'm tempted to call Kim tomorrow and ask but I won't.. Haha
