MTSA 2017 applicants

Anyone applying to MTSA for 2017 admission?

When and how did you find out?

Found out via email this morning. It was sent at 8:05 TN time. Any word for you yet?

I did not get accepted

I'm so sorry! I feel your pain! I got a second email saying that applications for their 1st DNAP program will be available the beginning of March. Classes start January 2018 with the first 6 months being online. Because there's not enough time to take the graduate-level class that they usually require for reapplying after not getting in, they are waiving the requirement to take that class. Planning on applying in March!

Hey RN_Wife, where in WA are you from? I interviewed on the 12th. I'm from Seattle.

Spokane, though this is my wife's account! ;) Did you get in jd?

I did! I'm crossing my fingers for you. I actually used to work at Sacred Heart in Spokane. I'm hoping to be able to reminisce with someone from the PNW. Tennessee is great, but it's got nothing on these mountains.

Congratulations! When were you at Sacred Heart? And I also love the PNW. But Nashville will be fun, and MTSA is an awesome program!

I was in their CICU from 2013-2014; prior to the fancy remodel/expansion.

I'm pretty sure we talked prior to your interview, but I was the other paramedic sitting at the table. I'm glad you got in, and I will be seeing you in July. Glad another paramedic got in.

Yeah, I remember you. Right on, Man! Congrats!! Are you planning on commuting from Murfreesboro for classes??

Not sure yet. There's still a lot up in the air. May end up relocating a little closer. We aren't 100% on if we are going to stay in our current home or move a little closer.
