Anyone applying to MTSA for 2017 admission?

Thanks. It's TX Wesleyan on January 11. I also tried calling Pam today but her voice mail said she's out till Monday. I'm hoping to get a time on Jan 12 at MTSA so I can get both interviews out of the way without asking for too much time off.

Congrats everyone.

@si_rn, i'm going to do the same, reviewing my CCRN prep info

I have also been looking through old interview suggestions on here.

Specializes in MICU.

I havent tried even calling yet because of the holiday but I'm planning on driving down on Sunday and interviewing on Monday. I definitely want to get the date set so I can get my mind right.

I went home for the holiday and I dug up my FCCS book. I haven't gone over that in two years since my initial certification. I just got my CCRN but I should not have given my PASS CCRN book to one of my coworkers. I'll procure another one though. For pharmacology, I was going to dig up my old pharmacology nursing textbook or ask my pharmacist what a good drug book would be. FCCS I remember being good with vent settings. I definitely need to be going over those. I'm stoked for all of us here!! :)

I have a interview on Jan 16th. Super excited and nervous! Anyone else interviewing that day? Anyone heard how many ppl they are interviewing by chance?

mjonesrn, BSN Congrats!! I interview on the 17th:nailbiting: I believe there are around 141 ppl interviewing. Where are you coming from? Do you have to travel to TN?

What is everyone using for the reviewing of drugs and their actions at the cellular level? I have a Pharmocology book by Lippincott that I'm have been reviewing, recommended by a pharmacist and it is veerrrry broad...

Hope everyone had a Happy Holidays!!

I live here in Middle TN. Been studying like crazy. Part of me feels like I need like 3 more months to get ready and the other part wishes it was tomorrow. What about you? Are you traveling from out of state?

I read on a forum on here where ppl recommended Stoelting's Pharm and Physiology and Basic and Clinical Pharm by Bertram Katzung. I also used online resources and resources from our unit.

I also interview on the 16.

H mjonesrn,

I'm here also, and i feel the same way-:banghead:. Which hospital do you work at?
