I wanted to start this because I didn't see one yet! This is for Mt. SAC in Walnut, CA! 

how are we doing points wise? 

If anyone has CNA experience are you planning to take your cards to verify that you have it?

I just received an email! I sent my transcripts over through parchment website... do they need to be physical copies?

I sent them electronically. However I'm not sure if I'm going to proceed since I also got accepted at another school. So I may be giving up my spot.

I don't think so. It says on file or with you. I checked on my mt sac account under transcripts and it shows that they have mine. So I'm thinking I should be okay without taking them. I'm going to call tomorrow and just double check

Hey guys! I got a counselor appointment email too ? I was wondering if you guys know if it is only in person or if it can be virtual just because I am not from the area.

"To prepare for this phase of the application process, submit to Mt. SAC's Admissions and Records Office the official transcripts from all colleges and universities you have attended, and other academic records (such as College Board Exam records, high school transcripts, etc.) that were included in your original Nursing Program Application. Admissions and Records can be contacted "

 

Once you fill out the Counselor information page, it states they will call you to help you schedule your appointment 

so you can call then and ask if you can do it over the phone

I actually called right now to check what I have on file bcus it didn't show one of the schools on my end.. they said the counselors will be able to pull them up if you've sent them in.

Awesome! Thanks for the update. Tried to call a few times but didn't get through. So do you know if there another selection process following the counseling appt? Or are we officially in once everything is verified?

Ohh I called admissions! they close at 7. It took like 5ish mins before they answered. I'm not really sure.. the email makes it sound like we are in, but I think we need to receive an email saying "accepted"
