Hi everyone! I didn't see a forum for the Mt. Sac ADN program application for the Spring 2026 admission so here it is! The application starts June 1st and ends in July I believe. I heard this is a hard school to get into...Does anyone know what their multi-criteria score is yet? Thanks for participating!!
amir.s said:Thank you, appreciate it! 75 pre TEAS is still competitive because if you pass the minimum 70% you'll get 4 points which puts you at 79 you're applying with. From what I've been told from the department is that average scores are 72 and above. You're in a good position. The top 30 applicants do not get placed in the lottery. The rest do.
What I applied with- BA = 20 points
- Paramedic license = 20 points
- first gen student = 1 point
- Need to work during prerequisites = 1 point
low income = 1 point
- Second language = 2 point
- Science GPA 3.66 = 25 points
- overall GPA 3.4 = 14 points
Applied with 84 pre TEAS.
got a 75% on TEAS = 4 points
overall 88 points
To increase my points I made sure to get A's in all of my sciences. That 25 points is huge.
if you're applying in November I'm assuming you're all set with your prerequisites and everything else. You're kinda set with what you have since it's next month. You'll be fine!
Thank you so much! That actually makes me feel a lot better 🙂 CONGRATS AGAIN and GOOD LUCK FUTURE NURSE!!
They just sent another email following up on the emails they sent last week. Check your MT SAC student email inbox and spam folders for status emails. You need to accept or decline your spot for the program. If not email [email protected]

Hi same here, Honestly I am not sure what comes next but I guess we will find out if we get accepted after the counseling part of the application is done.they still have to choose the top 60 or 80 .I am not so sure tbh
Hi ,
Anyone else got accepted as an alternate on here
Hey I received the second email but not the actual email regarding if I was accepted or not. I called the nursing department and they said that they are still working on sending out the acceptance/declined emails and they should have them all sent out by 1 pm today. I'm really bummed bc I applied with high points too 😭

Hi .Congratulations on getting accepted into another program.I am so happy for you .I am hopeful I get in even though I am an alternate for mt sac.I don't really know my chances of getting in.I am freaking out .I am just staying hopeful

Thank you! I applied to rio hondo, cypress, LBCC, and mt sac. So far I have gotten acceptances from LBCC and mt sac but haven't heard back from the other colleges. I am still considering both of my options since they are both good schools and the same distance from where I live. It's a hard choice!!

Don't lose hope! There are bound to be many chances as well as the fact that many people might decline!
