Mt. San Antonio College (Mt. Sac) ADN Spring 2024

Haven't seen this forum made so I decided to make one for students who applied for the Spring 2024 Mt. Sac ADN program

I applied to both schools and I didn't get accepted to Mt. sac but got accepted to Rio Hondo. Both programs are great, I'm pretty sure some clinical site may be similar for both school due to their locations. 
If you're deciding which school to go to, ask yourself which school fits best for you. 
which school is closest to you? If you're in the middle of both, look at their NCLEX Passing rate from previous years and compare. If NCLEX passing rate still does not help you decide, do research or look for forums from previous students that attended the program

Hey! Just wondering, how were they able to add 5 more. Was it because of your TEAS? Or because they let you add some points you were missing that you were elligible for? 

 

Only wondering cause I forgot to add some points that I could have gotten. ?

Hey you guys, I wanted to say I was just a recent alternate to mtsacs nursing program and I even attended the first day of class. So if anyone wants to see what the math ( I have all the homework given to me and the hw packet due at orientation too ) looks like or any questions I can help with for insight into the process please lmk. Hi so you were an alternate but didn't get into the program? How many points did you have after taking the TEAS?

Hi ! So I did my application wrong the first time and lost the 20 points for work experience so I ended up with 64 points. This application cycle I should be at 84 points. It was a pretty low census for the cycle I was at tho since I was pretty close to the top as an alternate. Some people were even admitted already in the low 70's so majority in this forum should honestly be fine or this cycle might just be higher points overall. 

They must have given you the points because there's no way you would have been an alternate with 64 points.
