Hi! I am an MSN student in my final semester - doing my thesis on the Effects of Bullying, Harassment and Verbal Abuse in the healthcare workplace. Research proves that most of us have been the victims of this atrocious behavior.

I am trying to use the research and the survey to offer suggestions to management on how to end this behavior. The key lies with the manager. Thanks for your interest. How did your paper turn out? Please take the survey. I haven't gotten many responses so far.

If I may offer a suggestion, I think you would get better results with your survey (and have a much easier time encoding the data) if you switched to a multiple choice format. There are a lot of very open-ended questions which makes the survey quite time-consuming. Are you planning on doing statistical analyses on your data?

Hi, just took the survey. just wanted to add I have had more experiences with verbally abusive, rude, inconsiderate, critical family members of patients than with the staff I work with.
