Hi all!
I am in WGU's MSN - Leadership and Management program and I am looking for a preceptor. Unfortunately, my unit is going through a management change and the current managers are interim and they will not be renewing their contract in April. The role of the preceptor is to oversee my quality improvement project (I'm writing a new neonatal hypothermia protocol) and to answer any questions I have about being a leader/manager in the nursing world.
Requirements:
WA State RN license
2 years in a leadership role (charge nurse counts)
MSN degree
If anyone is interested, please send me a message! I promise I won't take up much of your time and you would be doing me a huge favor. Thanks in advance!

Congratulations of working on your master's. I hope you had found a preceptor...did you?
How about your new job? I am interested in management and wondering how long it took to get a job after you finished your program?
Also, how are you adapting to your new role if you are already working? how is it different than a regular staff nurse position and what are the tasks you do on any given day?
Thank you in advance, I hope you are doing well otherwise.
