MSN Aspen?

Published

Hi everyone:

I am currently researching getting an MSN in public health or admin and I was looking at Aspen University because it's all online and very affordable compared to a lot of other programs.

Has anyone gone here? Is it a good school? I know it is CCNE accredited but not sure how it is viewed on a resume. I have zero desire to become an NP and basically view my MSN as the final step in my education (other than certifications) so I'm not sure the 'prestige' of the program really matters in my case.

Any thoughts? Or experiences with similar programs?

Look into Western Governors University. They offer an MSN in Leadership, Education, and I think possibly nursing informatics.

So far my understanding is that CCNE is what has the most weight.

I recently graduated from Aspen. Good school. Good dean and professional professors. Like any online program you get out what you put in. Overall i felt the buisness model works well. I am now a BSN.

Congratulations on your BSN! How long did it take you to complete the program? Thank you!
