@nursinghopeful88 I only received an email confirmation from signupgenius for my interview but no zoom information.

when is your interview? mine in not until April 23, Saturday. hopefully, they'll send the zoom link the day prior.

btw, what makes msmu your top choice?

@MandBMommy sorry for the delayed response! I had my interview and it wasn't too bad!

I have been keeping an eye on interviews and slots and it looks like they are adding more applicants/people to interview. There were 25 open spots yesterday and now only 17 open spots. It is making me nervous/I don't understand why ahhhh! Yours is still scheduled for Saturday? I hope youre not too nervous

Hey y’all, I’m just finding this forum and am glad I did. I applied for Fall 2022 and had my interview yesterday. It wasn’t bad, they basically ask you the same questions you answered in your essay. I wanted to comment on why I think they’re adding new interview slots. It seemed like there was a hiccup with some interviews like my first interview was never confirmed by them only signup genius and I never got a zoom link for that interview so I had to sign up for another slot without even knowing what went wrong the first time. So I feel like some people signed up for slots and they didn’t get to them so they probably had to open more for people to sign up again. If that makes sense.

does anyone know the timeframe of when msmu will let applicants know of acceptance? I think I'm going to be a nervous wreck for the next couple of weeks.

Thank you, same! I'm hoping the best for you all as well. It's going to be hard to not think about decisions now after the interview. I'm not sure when they will let us know, but from previous timelines it seems like we'll know soon. I feel like we'll know within a couple weeks, but I'm not certain. They say that their decisions are made between 2-3 months from when we apply.

it would be great if msmu announces the first week of may. fingers crossed.

if there are no more upcoming interviews, I counted 62 interview spots (including the one that was added this past Monday) and msmu is accepting 40 people to the fall cohort. @AspiringMidwife44 had mentioned they added Monday due to a glitch so maybe the school interviewed less than 62??

I will keep all of you updated as I get information from msmu. have a great week, everyone!

@MandBMommy I counted too haha! So for days, there were 52 interviews scheduled/filled so I’m hoping some of those were apart of the glitch that @AspiringMidwife44 mentioned and maybe another 10 were added to makeup for those missed interviews. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it’s 52 applicants and not 62 ?

Based on the previous cohorts/forums, some applicants checked their portal and found out the decision via their portal before they were alerted via email. I have been checking my portal non-stop in the event that’s the case.

Please keep us posted with any updates on your end!

I’m nervous so I’m trying to keep myself busy… cleaning, running errands and taking some time out for self-care before the program starts. God willing I get accepted. ??
