For applicants to the Mount St Mary's AccBSN program for Fall 2014.
Who else out there applied? Starting a thread for this cohort. Post anything relevant, thanks!
I'm anxiously waiting to hear anything back from the school other than the fact that my application is in review.
I think now is the time we all hope and wait to be invited to interview! And I think everyone is super nervous... but at this point we've all done everything we can do, to our best ability, even the math test. Hoping that as soon as invitations for interviews go out you guys start posting! Stay positive everyone :)
Hey everyone! It has taken me a while to work up the courage to post anything on here because I have been so nervous to hear anything back from MSMC. I hope everyone's math test went well and that we all get to hear the good news we want so badly! Just wanted to post a friendly hello and send my best of luck! (fingers crossed!! :))
Hello there,
I have applied to MSMC as a pre-nursing student. I am currently taking prereq's, but I also let the school know that I plan on retaking my sciences there, since they are more than five years old. The classes I am currently taking are my last two.
I still haven't heard from the school. I was told to expect a letter around the first two weeks of May.
I am getting worried, since I read here that rejection letters come in June.
Is anyone out there planning on going to MSMC as a transfer pre-nursing student, and then going the LVN mobility route?
If so, have you heard from the College?
Hey everyone! Am I the only one that's been checking the portal every 15 minutes for the past 5 days? The anticipation is killing me!! This is my second time applying so I'm really saying my prayers here! I was really hoping they would send out invitations for interviews this week but it doesn't seem like anyone has heard of anything yet...I've been checking this thread for months, I've also finally worked up the courage to post something despite my overwhelming anxiety. I just wanted to say goodluck to everyone and I hope that we all get to meet in person at orientation :)
For those of you that previously applied to other cohorts, do you know what factors contributed to you not being accepted the first time? Too many prerequiresits outstanding, less than perfect math score, not enough time to volunteer, etc? I understand if you would rather not say, I am just curious.

Hello Everyone! Has anyone heard about an interview yet? I'm bummed I got a 94% (missed 3)....they said it wouldn't affect admissibility but then they said it would "help them evaluate our admissions profile". Just anxious because she said they'd have a decision by the end of May but how are they going to interview 60-70 people in that time frame?
