Yes, the cost of living and their given condition is definitely not the greatest but like KB_ICU said, the suburbs areas are a lot better. I live a bit farther out in the coon rapids/ champlin areas and it's not too bad. But I get it, if I was moving my whole family, I would definitely make sure it is for the best (that it can be) for everyone.

The deadline for the enrollment fee isn't until September 13. I guess it make sense to send out one mass email once the group of is set. It must be a special Stats course because I was snooping around in Metro State's course page and all the Stats course offered started in August and ends in December. If I find out anything more, I will update the rest of you as well.

What side of town sld I be looking into getting a house?I will be moving from Texas and I will get selling my beautiful house?. I  was looking at houses on Zillow. Dammm they are ugly for such prices.

There are many nice areas to stay in MN but I guess it depends on your needs.  My family decided on the east side of the cities in the Stillwater/Lake Elmo/Woodbury area.  Current market conditions make moving a little more challenging.  If you are looking for public schools- you could try Niche and Great schools.org websites.  A good realtor could tell you about which areas suit your needs and maybe where to avoid.

Well, courses are going to be at Shoreview and Saint Paul, so I don't think you can go wrong in terms of which side of town, just don't recommend staying right in the heart of Saint Paul or Minneapolis (especially if you have little ones). It really comes down to what you prioritize, I.e. distance to school, house size, yard size, cost ... etc. I like the areas that KB_ICU mentioned in her reply. I also like Maple Grove/ Fridley/ Coon Rapids/ Anoka area as well. Also, are you planning to work in MN after completion: I'm only asking because if not, it may do you good to maybe rent instead of buy since the buying market is quite competitive now.

Hi everyone! I was waitlisted and just found out that I was accepted today! I can’t wait to start the program. Has anyone started a facebook group or something similar for the 2022 cohort?! Would love to get to know some classmates and chat about program details! ?

Congrats, and I don’t think anyone’s started one yet. If you do make sure to share it so we can all connect.

I can create one and share it if there isn't one created yet. Let me know.

That would be great! When you do let us know.

I created a private group. I can invite you into the group if you let me know your facebook name.
