I've been reading up on Phage treatments and wondering if any of you
have heard of any patients that had gotten this type of therapy.
There are a number of PubMed and AMA articles supporting the
treatment but it is not FDA approved as yet.
There is a treatment center opening in Mexico soon, however.
Let me know what you think!
If you are unfamiliar, look on my homepage under treatment options to read up on it!

I watched a 60 minutes show about phage therapy a year or so ago. Its popular in europe and especially russia. 60 minutes also stated most of the research into phage therapy in russia is U.S.A. funded. I think the drug companies will prevent phage therapy from hitting it off in the united states.

I hope you are wrong but I fear you are right that they will lobby heavily to keep something like this from reaching their market.
Hopefully the Insurance lobby will have a larger influence and will get it approved if it is efficacious.
When this Center opens in Mexico, I look forward to hearing reports on what happens, both good and bad!
