Little Panda RN, ASN, RN 816 Posts Specializes in Assisted Living Nurse Manager. Aug 25, 2006 I just read an article in a podiatry magazine and it stated the the community acquired MRSA can be treated much easier than hospital acquired. It responds much more readily to some of the older antibiotics. It is very scary and I see alot of MRSA where I work. I use good handwashing and I always wear gloves when taking of dressings or having any contact with my patients. Hope I never have to deal with this type of infection myself.
