MPCU New Grad at JHH

Hi!

I interviewed at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore for a July 2017 start date (I'll be graduating this May) for a new grad position on their MPCU and I was offered the job! I'm accepting the position and cannot be more excited! The plan is to move down to Maryland but to live outside of Baltimore to the south at a halfway point between Baltimore and DC since my bf lives there. I was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions of where to live or any tips about working at JHH/Baltimore.

I wasn't hoping you would say Eleni! I interviewed with just her. I didn't interview with a Shelly. But the nurse recruiter I talked to is Kelly and she's so sweet. The Recruiment office told me that I would have a July 31 start date but when I got to my interview she told me that she had 20 ppl starting in July so Aug 28th would be my start date and that's fine! I bet if u let her know you could probably switch to August like if you didn't get something done or whatever. I would prefer to live close to Hopkins. Like no more than 20 min but I have to see! I'm open to he suburbs. I realllly don't want a long commute. How long is your commute from Columbia

Hey did u take NCLEX yet? How's the process going with getting everything done before starting? I take my NCLEX in a week !!
