I am soon to move to Texas after graduating in May in Louisiana. I was wondering can I apply for Texas state board of nursing while I am currently living in Louisiana?

The only problem I see with this situation is that her first Texas RN license may not be compact, because she currently lives in Louisiana.
The issue is that she currently lives in a compact state and is applying for license in another compact state. Like I explained in my other post, I live in Indiana and work in Ky. Last year, Indiana went compact and I was forced to get an Indiana license (and compact) in order to continue working in KY. KY BON would not renew my license because I live in another compact state.
Her issue may be different because her initial license will be Texas, but there is probably a time limit for her to officially change her residence to Texas, the same as if she had a compact license in Louisiana and moved to Texas (compact to compact).
