Moving out of state resume

Published

Hello!

I am an LPN who lives in New York. I will be moving out of state (I'm moving in with family). I want to start applying for jobs now because I know it usually takes a while for them to call. I am planning on moving I'm June.

I want to know what to put on my resume and where to put it that says I'm relocating? I also have a NY state LPN license (it takes like a month to update to a FL one) so what should I put by my license number?

Thanks!

I suggest you go ahead and obtain your FL license and include that information prior to applying for FL jobs. It also helps if you can provide a local address. These days, employers are very picky - unlikely to take you seriously unless you are "good to go" for their job. If this is just not possible, you can always state "FL license pending , application submitted April 12, 2015" on your resume.

Best of luck with your relocation and job hunt.
