Here is the list of all the state board approved nursing programs in Florida:
check out academy of practical nurses. very good school but tough!
it costs about 16,000 but there is not waiting list compared to PBCC which cost 3,000 but you might have to wait a year and half before you enter the program.
this is there number Call 561-683-1400 and website http://www.apnho.edu/(S(zriwcb45kdrcfy2zlvc2l3ns))/about.aspx
let me know if you have any more ??. i have many friends who graduated there.
Yeah I Was Looking At There Website Yesterday.. It Looks Good... So For Pbcc Is It A Program Were You Go Stright For Your Lpn Lic. Or Is It Like A 2 Year College Were You Need Pre Requirement Classes? Is Pbcc A Good School?
Also I Know This Has Nothing To Do With Nursing But Do You Know Any Good Apartment Places Over That Way??
PBCC is a community college you can go there for your LPN then transition into the RN program (if you desire). i would definately recommend them, it just takes longer to complete. versus academy or nursing where you can get in and out in a year.
apartments here are very pricy. 1/1 in a decent community will be $800-900. any thing below that wil be JUNK AND RAT INVESTED. sorry for being so blunt but its the truth.
