Moving near Holiday FL soon; looking for a hospice job

Will be moving to Holiday FL in near future. Online there are very few hospice jobs; and almost nothing in papers. Is Hospice "saturated" down there? Are all the hospices truly well staffed with experienced hospice nurses? Have CHPN (certification) and 40 years nursing experience, 17 in hospice.

Thanks for any information. I know that Suncoast is in Pinellas County; and has changed their name to Empath Health. We use their software and it's great. Pasco County is served by Hernando Pasco Hospice if I'm not mistaken.

Suncoast is still Suncoast. Empath is the corporate umbrella that owns all the different divisions that seemed to be out of place being called "Suncoast Hospice." The hospice division is still Suncoast Hospice. I have worked there for the past year, but am doing a travel hospice contract in Vermont right now. That said, Lifepath Hospice/Chapters Health has taken over Hernando-Pasco Hospice, so you will find the jobs on their website. There are a variety of positions available. (I worked there for a number of years and have lots of friends there.) Holiday is in Pasco county, but is close to Pinellas County, so you might want to apply at both hospices. You might get a position in N. Pinellas that would be convenient for you.
