Moving to Houston, Texas with Florida RN license

Hi, I want to know if Texas accepts the Rn license from Florida or do they require anything extra.

You will have to apply for a Texas license in order to work in Texas -- your Florida license will not be any good there (or in any other US state, for that matter). Check the TX Board of Nursing website, and look for the information about how to apply for licensure "by endorsement."

The only exception to that is Federal healthcare facilities -- the US government only requires that you have an active, unrestricted license from A state, not necessarily the state in which the facility is located. So, you could work at a VA hospital or other Federal healthcare facility in Texas with a Florida license.
