Hi!
I am moving from FL and I have a single state license (although I thought I applied for multistate). When I was looking into the process of upgrading to a multistate the first requirement was that FL was my primary state of residency. It currently is but I will be moving to NC in a month. What should I do about my license? Do I have to wait until I move to NC before I can apply for my license there? I'm very confused on what to do.
Thank you in advance

I know the NC BON won't issue you any license as a resident of another compact state. I don't know whether they will accept an application from a resident of another compact state planning to relocate.
You can submit an email to the NC BON here. In my experience, the NC BON has always responded to email in a timely fashion.
Depending how quickly the FL BON would process an application to upgrade your license to multi-state, that might be the easiest route, and that would allow to to start working immediately.
Best wishes.
