Moving to El Paso

  • Experts

I am a California LVN student with three more months to go before graduation. Upon graduation I plan to relocate to El Paso. I plan to work there and eventually do the LVN-to-Rn program. I have a few questions that need to be answered.

1. What parts of town are desirable? I plan to buy within the next month or two.

2. Which parts of town have the panoramic views?

3. Is the nursing job market strong?

Any other tips and pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

If you only speak English, I would recommend the westside of El Paso. Exit Redd Rd. and drive toward the mountain. I loved living in that area. Also, I believe there are some new neighborhoods going up off Transmountain. It really depends on your price range. The upper valley is very nice, too! Great market for nurses!

Hi,

Iam also moving to El Paso next year. I use to live there and finally going back! The West and East are very desirable. The East is growing very rapidly with affordable new homes. The West Side is already very nice, just a bit pricey!

I am also looking for a home and I am leaning towards the West Side since University is close by, and maybe you should consider it if going back to school. Maybe you should look into the beatiful homes they have on CasabyBuilder.com or Realtor.com So you can get an idea of what areas look better for you! As far as I know from the nursing job market, it is strong basically anywhere! They have alot of job opportunities! Also check out carreerbuilder.com. :)

Good Luck! :p
