I will be relocating to Columbus and need some advice. I am coming from one year of med-surg experience and would like to work preferably in NICU or even L&D, could anyone let me know which hospitals would be best for this? And also, which hospitals would be best for ICU/ER? I am concerned about staffing issues with the latter question. I was thinking about Grant hospital, but would like some input, thank you!!!!!!

Hey! I am relocating to Columbus next month. I will be working in the NICU. I did a lot of research on the hospitals there and went on a couple of interviews. PM me your e-mail address and I will give you all the info I have.

I have heard mixed reviews. I live in the Columbus area and have for a tad over 8 years. The hospitals here are really "odd". Slow and very political. OSU I would say left the worst taste in my mouth.

I was just wondering what was the worst about OSU? I think the nurses there are unionized, aren't they? Or maybe they are just working for the state. I always thought that would be a good place to work but now I am doubting it.
Yes they are unionized. I have just ran into alot of "unfriendly" people there....but on the flip side I know some very nice people. They did get magnet status I think........
