Moving to Colorado

Published

I am looking to move to Colorado this summer---will be living near Boulder, but will most likely end up working in Denver. I need recommendations on hospitals (since I am from Missouri). Recommendation on hospitals and why would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jenny

How "near" Boulder will you be living?

Hospitals relatively close to Boulder:

Boulder Community Health (Boulder)

Good Samaritan (Lafayette)

Avista (Louisville)

Longmont United (Longmont)

St. Anthony North (Westminster)

North Suburban (Thornton)

As far as recommendations, that would vary greatly depending on the area of nursing you work, years of experience, degree held, etc.

Take a dart, throw it at a map of colorado and you will hit a hospital or one close to it. What your specialty is will have a lot to do with it and/or your locale.

I'm attempting to live between Boulder and Denver. I've been a med/surg nurse for 2 years now. We also get all the (stable) traumas on our floor and that's always been an interest of mine.

I don't know what facilities besides Denver Health are known for trauma.

All of the aforementioned hospitals have Med/Surg, though.
