Moving to ATL next week........

Hi everyone,

I will be moving to ATL next week. I was hoping someone could help give me some direction in who might be hiring. I have recent experience in case management. I also have experience in post-partum, LTC and a methadone/drug rehab clinic (I know that options are few with my limited experience).

Does anyone know anything about the re-entry programs at local hospitals for nurses who have been away from the bedside for a while? I would be interested in that and any information you might be able to provide. Thank you for your support and guidance as it is most appreciated.:)

If Detox is something you still want to do, check out Peachford Hospital. They don't use Methadone for Detox but your experience dealing with Drug Rehab may still help you getting a job there.

Are you only looking for drug rehab? What is your experience in Mom& Baby?

Depends on experience - In talking to folks that have worked there with different years of experience, their rates have varied anywhere from $23-$30 plus shift diffs.

Average seems to be about $27 plus shift diffs though.

I have close to 2 years in post-partum which I left in 10/2009. I am looking at just about everything. I would consider a nurse re-entry program as long a it is not too far from the Actworth area.
