Mountain View College Spring 2021

Published

Hello everyone!

I wanted to start a thread for Spring 2021 applicants at Mountain View College. I wasn’t able to find one only for fall 2020. I have followed old threads and I believe it has been very helpful with questions and guidance for some. Feel free to post and ask questions. Applications are due on the 28th, good luck to EVERYONE!?

The blue card is when you do a back ground check to make sure you do not have any felonies.  If you are clear and do not have a felony than you get a blue card which says you can sit and take the nursing board exam. I looks like a post card and it is blue.  After you do your finger printing they will send that to your mailing address.

Is someone still going to take the Pharmacology and Pathophysiology class?  I still  need to take it but I took everything else.

I signed up for pharmacology but felt a little impossible all online based.  I had to drop it ?

Well if I get accepted at MVC maybe we can take it together.  I still have to take it.  Will take it Spring 2021.  I wonder what the cut off is for the HESI scores to be accepted.

I still need to take those classes too. I'm currently taking Microbiology right now this semester. The only extra support class I had when I applied was A&P 2 so I hope it'll be alright.

Oh my I am so happy I am done with A&P I do not want to take that again. OK awesome that would be nice if we can all take it together.  We could study together.  Last semester I took Introduction to Pharmacology. I just wanted to see how it is.  Hopefully it would be the same

Out of curiosity, how did y’all turn in the application?I remember the coordinator told me that we could turn it in via email or mail.

Email, I was under the impression that was the only to turn it in.

I actually delivered mine.  The room number they gave on Website. I spoke to the lady that I handed my application and she said we could do either.  Hand it in person or email it

I submitted mine through email.

I have a question. Did anyone have a negative titer? My Hep B titer was negative, so I have to receive the vaccines again. I have started the series, but I am wondering if anyone else ran into this issue. The nursing coordinator told me it would be fine as long as I stay on the schedule, but I am still worried it might cause a problem with my application or something. I'm probably fretting over nothing LOL but my anxiety is through the roof!

Hi Kayowens,

I did not do the Hepatitis B titer because I am yet to complete the 3 doses. The coordinator told me, it was fine only for me to receive a mail just today requesting for the titer. I just sent a mail to them concerning the titer. I will let you know of their response.
