Mountain View College Spring 2019

Hi all! Haven't seen one for Spring application yet and I have some questions so I thought I'd start this!

It says on the app that we need closed transcripts from all previous schools. What if we have one on file with admissions, does this count? Only one of my classes is from an out of state school and on econnect it shows transfer equivalent. I have an email in to Self-Drake asking but thought maybe someone would know sooner. TIA!

I wasn't going to post anything but I feel the need to encourage you guys. I was a former student at El Centro and that school was TRASH! They don't teach, they were very rude to students and they used the students as lab rats to boost up their NCLEX scores in an attempt to stay open! I was excepted at Mountain View for Spring 2019, I believe God is giving me a second chance! Don't settle, for anything less than what you deserve. You guys will get in to nursing school just keep trying, and most importantly never give up on yourself or your dreams!!!!

Wow! I applied there and then my best friend whose a nurse told me to not go the school. She said a lot of the new nurses that went there and worked at her job struggled really bad! I thought she was bluffing. So I went online and saw their NCLEX pass rates and I was shocked!! Then I find out through the grapevine that they might be shut down! I went to north lake to talk to the advisor and she confirmed it! She tried reaching out to them to make sure and they never responded and still haven't! I was supposed to start for them in the Spring 2019 semester! Anyways, my whole plans were CRUSHED and then a coworker told me about mountain view 2 months before the application deadline, I hurried and got everything done, I was also accepted at MVC! Can't wait to meet you!

Guys, be encouraged and don't give up as she stated ! We don't know what Monday brings and I'm sure it will be better news! I just know it!

I can not wait til Monday it's bugging me they didn't send out all the emails! Why would they do that!? Then again some people didn't get interview emails early as I did so now I just have to be patient. Congratulations to the ones whom where accepted!!!

You did the right thing by doing your research. I learned the hard way that you have to do your research and ask questions. At El Centro they were so cruel to students, so many of my friends had failed out due failing a Hesi that meant nothing.

No, several of us didn't get emails yet. But I read on the threads drom the last application period that they did the same thing so we just have to be patient.
