Mountain View College Spring 2019

Hi all! Haven't seen one for Spring application yet and I have some questions so I thought I'd start this!

It says on the app that we need closed transcripts from all previous schools. What if we have one on file with admissions, does this count? Only one of my classes is from an out of state school and on econnect it shows transfer equivalent. I have an email in to Self-Drake asking but thought maybe someone would know sooner. TIA!

The email came from cheryln, I believe she's the dean.

I'm so frustrated because I didn't receive anything who was the email from my last name begins in m

I only applied at mountain view hoping to get in =/ but i was just put on the waiting list,

I dont know how to feel about that.

I got selected to be on the waitlist :/ I dont feel too good about it tbh

You could still get in if others turn down their acceptance. Since nursing is so hard to get into, your odds of getting in are better if you apply to several schools. I applied to 3 and it took me 2 whole years to get all the pre-reqs met for all 3. I would've applied to El Centro as well but they had been on probation & never posted they were taking applications again. By the time I found out, their deadline had passed.

Self-drake mentioned they went through their waitlist last semester. I also at least hope I get on the waitlist. What number were you placed?

It didn't say what number im place on it. It said to contact Ms. Nelson to schedule an appointment with her.

Yeah im going to schedule an appointment with Nelson and see what advice she tells me because at this point im already thinking on plan b,c, and d. It's sucks to say this but its like your not even guaranteed if there will be an opening and I dont understand why they would make us go through the whole "attend the first week of class" if its not even guaranteed that we're even going to be allowed to stay in the program.

Im with you on that. Why going through all that if not guaranteed to get in :( i really want to get in. It sucks
