Mountain View College Fall 2021 Nursing Program

Published

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to create a thread for the ones who are applying for the Fall 2021 Nursing Program at Mountain View College! I just completed my HESI A2 exam scoring a 87%. My prerequisite total GPA is about a 3.0. I have also taken Microbiology, AP2, and Pharm already so I'm currently at 19 points. I just wanted us to be able to discuss the process together as they did for the previous semesters.

Let's chit chat!

I have my CPR, I renewed it last year because I work in the ER. But I need to get my shot records and apply for health insurance. My sister went to TWU and she said that they didn’t need to have health insurance. I wonder why it’s mandatory with Mountain View ?.

I'm not sure, maybe it's to protect them incase something happened? That's the only reason I can think of.

Hey guys! Did you find any affordable health insurance? That’s one thing that’s been stressing me out already. And I’m not sure what to do. My current job doesn’t offer health insurance, only vision and dental. ?

You'll need to talk to an agent to get something, just be careful where you enter your number or your phone will blow up for weeks.

Even if you just go to healthcare.gov, they'll prompt for your details before they let you see the plans, and then your details get sold to everyone. Use this link instead if you want to look at marketplace plans without putting in personal details that will have every agent in the US calling you.

If you want to just talk to an independent agent, PM me and I'll connect you.

Sorry guys, for so many questions. It’s my first time applying and I want to be positive I’m doing everything correctly. But I saw on the timeline for fall 2021 admission, it says coursework MUST be evaluated? Like do we just email and say “May I be evaluated?” Or do we request our transcripts...and email it to them? Or? Sorry I know with the whole pandemic, everything is a bit different than before. But I just need some clarification. Thanks!

don't be sorry! We are all here to help one another.

I emailed Ms.self drake and she will do your evaluation for you. No need to get transcripts or anything ?

I appreciate you !! Thank you ?

Yeah same! I just emailed her and asked who do I contact for my evaluation? And she told me she does it and will get back with me after she finishes it. Just make sure to Include your student ID number.

Hi all, thank you so much for creating this thread. I am also planning to apply to Mountain View (Fall 2021). I see you guys are talking about points. I could only find the way they calculate the points for El Centro and Brookhaven. Can you send me the link or reply to this comment with the way the points are calculated in Mountain View? Good luck all ?

The interview is just talking to some of the professors, they want to get to know you. The writing is nothing serious, just write from your heart.
