Hey guys! I was just wondering if anyone here is applying for the ADN program at MSMC for Spring 2010...
ANd if anyone has gone to any information sessions..
Let me know! I'm looking into MSMC and I really wanna get in!
If I'm applying for Fall 2011 and 3 of my prereqs (Psych and Anatomy) were taken way back in Spring 2006, I should be able to repeat Anatomy and it won't count against me, right? Cuz it would be passed the five year mark? Does it apply to all prereqs or just science courses? I would like to know because the first time I took Psych was in Spring 2006 also and got a D. (Repeated the class in 2007 and got a B.) By Fall 2011, it would be over 5 years and I was just wondering if they would still look at that or disregard it.
I really wish I could go to the session, but I won't be able to make it as I live 6 hrs away. And they won't let me set up an appt w/ a counselor unless I attend the session, so I'm just trying to get all the information I can get online.
Thanks!
Hi I'm new to this and I'm not sure if this is the right place to post my question...
I'm hoping to transfer to MSMC this coming Fall semester but I'm looking to transfer in as a pre-nursing student..so I was wondering if you want to apply as a pre-nursing transfer do you just apply into the ADN program. And to get in as a pre-nursing transfer do I have to have a minimum number of pre-req credits to transfer?
If you know the answer please let me know!
Thanks for your help
Hey everyone. I stumbled upon this website just earlier today. I have a few questions I hope some of you can help me with. I have currently finished my pre-nursing courses at a Comm.College-Anatomy,physio, Chems etc.I have read into the thread and noticed that there is another pre-requisite to join this college which is religious studies? Is that right? Could that requirement be completed within a Comm.College?
hi
my name is ashley victoria. i just got recently accepted into the adn program at mount saint mary's college and begin in fall. i'm curious to know what your experience were at the mount. i know it's a well established school by reputation. i am concerned about the school's accreditations though. i've heard from several friends that are in the mount's adn program right now...that the school lacks the nln accreditation at the associate's level. that can really pose a big program for people like me attending the mount for my rn to transfer my units out and pursue my rn-bsn degree at a public institution.
but despite accreditation issues, what were your experiences at the mount?

Hi everyone! I'm planning on applying for Fall 2011 and I'm gonna finish all of my pre-req's at my CC this coming sem, so I think I'm gonna be going straight to the nursing program. I just recently discovered MSMC's nursing and reading all about it and I think I'm sold. But I have a question about the repeat courses. I know it says "Failure (C- and below) of any two required science or pre-requisite courses results in non-admission." I got a D in Physiology1 the first time I took it, repeated and got a B. Same with Psychology. So, those are two classes I failed and repeated. Is that going to count against me? I hope somebody can help me with this. Thank you!
