Hello Everyone! I'm new to this site and was hoping I could get some help. I have my first nursing interview at Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital next week and I was wondering if anyone has any tips or suggestions.
I'm worried about the scenario questions they may ask me about peds. I've been looking all over the internet for examples of scenario questions but I can't seem to find much. Does anyone have any tips on how to answer these types of questions? Or any examples of these sorts of questions? And of course if you know anything specific about Mount Sinai's hiring procedures, I'd greatly appreciate it :) Peds is my dream specialty so I really want to do amazing on my interview!
Thanks for any help anyone can give!!!

Hi there,
Congrats on your interview!! It's hard out there for us new grads to get someone to notice us. I'm not sure what peds questions they would ask you. Just be prepared to answer why you want to work in peds, maybe think of some memorable patient experience from your pedi clinical.
As far as the general hiring process, you will probably meet with nurse manager, panel of nurses, tour the unit, meet with recruiter and then reference check. After you get an offer there will be basic background check and pharm test type things. Good luck!!

HI congrats! how did you get the interview? I been applying and even emailing the recruiter and nothing. I have two years experience in hospital and a BSN and currently working. But i feel like a new grad all over again...no one calls me and the two interviews i had "moved on with other candidates" b/c i dont have exact experience in their department.
