Hi! For anyone confused, the invitations for the interviews were supposed to be sent by the end of last week or early this week! I haven't gotten anything, but when I called again to see if interviews had started or been sent out, the girl just told me "soon" -_- its so scary not knowing !

It's definitely scary not knowing what's going on I wonder if someone is not going to get called for an interview, are they going to let us know that we're not going to get invited? Or are they going to let us know that we're already disqualified?

Hello peeps. First of all, congrats on choosing nursing. I am currently enrolled in the ABSN program and will be graduating this August (right around the time you guys will start). I remember being in your shoes. Only people who are invited to an interview get notified initially. The onterview was really laid back and the staff is really approachable. If accepted, do not go in with a "Know it all mentallity". You really don't. I will be happy to answer your questions to ease your burden during the application process. Heads up, I was not invited to an interview until late June so don't panic.

Hi! Thank you for commenting on our thread! How was the program? I have so far been accepted to one ABSN program and I am extremely nervous to start. I keep reading reviews and watching youtube videos on how hard accelerated nursing programs are

Yes. Although I do not think the University officially states this, I think you have to get interviewed to be accepted.

It is ok to be nervous. The best advice I can give you is to be prepared to learn. Even if you think you know something, nursing school teaches (and tests you) on NURSING considerations. I have seen people go in with previous experience in a healthcare related field only to fail because they are stubborn ie: they think they know everything.

Go in with an open mind and the willingness to put your social life on hold for 12 months and you will succeed.

I called today and the person I spoke with said interviews and decisions would both be sent out on the same week, by June 18...

Hello all- thank you so much for this thread! As an applicant for Fall 2018 I've been checking along the way but haven't commented yet. Wanted to let you know I received an email invitation for interview last night (June 7th) around 5 pm. It looks as though there are 8 people slotted for that same half day. Praying all hear the same...
