Mount Saint Mary's ABSN Fall 2018

Hi Everyone! I just want to start a thread for people who applied for MSMU's ABSN Program fall admission this year! We can keep each other updated here. ?

I am losing my mind waiting for this. lol I feel like such a creep because I've read so much on this. Last years fall cohort got emails for the math exam on April 5th, 2017. The summer cohort had an application due date of October 15 and they heard back mid December. So, I guess it takes about 1-2 months to hear back for the math exam. Maybe. Who knows?

I keep checking my application status hoping it lets me know and it still says there are no events for me :(

Yeah, I have no events either. It says that the page isn't there or something. This is anxiety inducing.

So I emailed Agasia last week on the 4th and she said it would resent through email within the next two weeks, so hopefully by next week we get something!

Hi everyone! So happy to have this thread, that way we are not alone in this process!

I did have a couple of questions, if anyone has an answer:

-does anyone know when orientation will be? (if one is accepted)

-also, I ran into an old classmate of mine and she is a student at West Coast University for nursing. She and the professor both told me that there is a rumor going around that MSMU is going to lose their accreditation. Of course, upon hearing this, my heart dropped. I did some research on this and it says this is true for the Maryland campus. Did anyone else hear something regarding this?

Hi Isabella I am in the same boat! I am currently in 3 courses and have 2 more to take this summer. on the website it says that as long as they're complete by the start date of the program that we can have courses in progress. However, i talked to another lady at the admissions office and she told me the same thing you were told that they recommend only 2 classes in progress. I was so sad because I didn't feel that that information was communicated well on the website or during the info session. Anyways, fingers crossed for both of us that they are ok with a few extra classes in progress! Good luck to you!

Hi everyone! Do you know if they will contact you from email or phone? Also what other programs did you apply to? (ADN, Traditional BSN, ELM?) And of course, good luck to everyone hopefully we all get into a program by this fall. :)

Yes, I also received the invite last night! I think it said all applicants were being asked to complete the math exam!

I'm so bummed... I was under the impression that my application was complete, but I didn't get the math invitation email :( :/

Have you checked your spam folder? It may have ended up in there!
