Motlow 2019 applicants

Hello (: my name is Kyla

Just wondering if anybody else is applying to MSCC's 2019 nursing program? The application opens up in a couple of weeks and I have been pretty nervous...I have never applied to a nursing program before and I hear that it is pretty competitive. If anybody would like to share their experience(s) that would be awesome!

Hello Everybody,

I just sent Email yesterday to the nursing department to ask about the letters date and they said:

Acceptance/Denial letters should be going out in the next week. We usually send them out around the 19th or 20th of the month. You should hear something from us soon.

I hope all of us get in?

Aw, that kind of makes me sad lol. Would they still send them out on a Saturday??

Okay, just to let you guys know what they said at the nursing information session I went to:

The rejection letters will go out first, Then the acceptance letters go out. They did say it would be around the 19th.

Also, if you get an acceptance letter, immediately respond with an accept or deny. If you do not respond, they will give your spot away.

When they say around the 19th, does that mean it could still come tomorrow or would it’s probably be after the 19th?

I would guess 19th plus. The people compiling the scores are going through so much. There were over 500 applicants and there are 3 groups of people that check the scores before the letters go out just to make sure there are no mistakes. That means one group checks, then the next, then the next group. It’s a very intricate process.

They said that now,"You should hear something soon. Letter should be going out within a week or so. Just keep a watch on your student email as that is how we will contact you."
