Mothers day gift for a new nursing student.

Hello, I was wanting to get my mother a PDA for this mothers day. She is going to be starting the Nursing program at UW in the fall. Does anyone have any advice about what brand and models might work best for her. I am just a son doing research and know nothing of nursing or the reference guides she will need etc... Please let me know as soon as possible, thank you!

I have a palm Pilot TX....it was about $300..you can get one for cheaper. Mine has wireless internet capabilities, but the biggest help is my drug guide and Tabers medical dictionary I have bought and installed on there. VERY handy during clinicals to look up drugs and diagnosis much easier than carrying books around and its always right there in your pocket...use it in patients rooms when they ask a question about a medication you dont know the answer too....hope this is helpfull
