Most drips I've had running at one time so far is nine. (Vaso, levo, neo, heparin, diprivan, fentanyl, saline, zosyn, cardizem.) I know people have had to have more. What's your record? And why? (My pt went into afib RVR after rewarming from hypothermia.)
I don't know if our doctors are just med-happy, but we routinely get patients with tons of drips. Two days ago we got a patient (terminal heart failure, awaiting a transplant) who went into TV and lost consciousness. At some point of reanimation there was : midazolam, sufentanyl, amiodarone, potassium, magnesium sulfate, norepinephrine, epinephrine, dobutamine and furosemide... He was also intubated and had defibrillator patches stuck onto him in case he did it again. Transferring him to the ICU was so. much. fun.
(He is still alive, but critical... :/ )

I start my dream CICU job in a week but when I was in nursing school I had a trauma ICU patient with 8 IV pumps, I'll never forget that sight. Plus 2 chest tubes and a ventric. Sooo many lines!
