Morphine caused febrile reaction??

Anyone ever heard of morphine causing a febrile reaction? I was on my first post-op day following a TAH, on a PCA pump with morphine and began running fever of 102. Blood cultures no growth, ditto urine culture. :uhoh21: WBC and differential perfect. About 36 hours into the fever my doc says maybe it is the morphine. He dcd it and within 4 hours my temp was going down. I can't find anything that says this might be a reaction but I am thinking no more morphine for me. Any thoughts?
