More Tuition Increases At Our Colleges!!!

THEY ARE PLANNING TO MEET TOMORROW....WHAT CAN WE DO? I AM FAIRLY NEW TO RHODE ISLAND BUT I JUST CAN BELIEVE HOW THE STUDENT BODY ISNT DOING ANYTHING!!!

Why don't the board make a big stink at the governers office and at the senate to not cut so much in aid that state gives....(the cut was $17 million:nono:) which in comparison to other state colleges is horrible. I know RI is a economic "recession" but education should not be an area that should be considered for cuts...PERIOD. Make the students happy they will probably stay.....

CCRI 8.6% increase tuition $2,795 Fees $ 296

RIC 9.8% increase tuition $4,889 Fees $ 882

unbelievable ...... unbelievable........

OH now the meeting has changed from RIC...... does anyone know where they are meeting tomorrow?????
