Moorpark College ADN Spring 2020

Published

The ATI TEAS scores were due on October 4th. The school is just starting to reach out to students regarding their acceptance into the program. I just received my call this morning at 8:30am that I’m in!

I haven’t seen a thread for the Spring 2020 program yet, so I thought I would start one so we can discuss our application points, TEAS scores, whether we got into the program, accepted as alternates, waitlisted, etc.

For reference, I had 90 points with my application and scored a 95% overall on my TEAS (reading 94, math 97, science 98, language 88).

I hope things go well for everybody else who applied! If you accept your offer, I look forward to being in a cohort with you. ?

Did anyone hear do any online science prerequisites that successfully transferred them? I want to start my prerequisites ASAP I’m looking into portage, New Mexico junior college, and edukan While I wait for a counseling appointment but maybe you all can answer thatWhile I wait for a counseling appointment but maybe you all can answer that

I am pretty sure they want the core science classes (anatomy, physiology & microbiology) to be taken in person, mainly for the lab component involved. I would call the Health Sciences department and ask, but they close at 12:00pm on Fridays and will be closed this Monday for MLK day. The ladies at the front desk are always super helpful!

Have you considered just taking the courses in person? Moorpark College has Chemistry and Anatomy courses on campus for this semester that haven't started just yet that you can try and get into still.

Thank you

I thought everything there had started

Most classes have started already but there are some late start classes available. If they are waitlisted or closed you can show up on class day and see if people drop or if you can get an add code from the professor. Good luck on your journey!

Really appreciate it!
