Moorpark College ADN Spring 2020

Published

The ATI TEAS scores were due on October 4th. The school is just starting to reach out to students regarding their acceptance into the program. I just received my call this morning at 8:30am that I’m in!

I haven’t seen a thread for the Spring 2020 program yet, so I thought I would start one so we can discuss our application points, TEAS scores, whether we got into the program, accepted as alternates, waitlisted, etc.

For reference, I had 90 points with my application and scored a 95% overall on my TEAS (reading 94, math 97, science 98, language 88).

I hope things go well for everybody else who applied! If you accept your offer, I look forward to being in a cohort with you. ?

Congrats! I was just called to be an alternate. They don’t tell you what number alternate you are! Someone said alternates get a spot guaranteed for the next semester. Does anyone know if that is true?

Yeah that’s true. My friend who applied for Fall 2019 got accepted as an alternate. Generally they’ll let in a few alternates as some people will deny for another program or will miss deadlines for the program requirements (Like CPR certification, proof of immunizations, etc). But since she’s an alternate, she’s guaranteed a spot for the following semester. She picked up her letter this morning!

Congrats on being an alternate though!

Congrats to everyone who was accepted! I have been chosen as an alternate, so hopefullllllllyyyy somehow I am accepted.

Does anyone knows if calls are still being made?

Does anyone know if they tell you if you have not been accepted? I haven’t gotten a call or anything.

I haven't heard anything back either. Hoping there's still a chance. If there isn't, then a denial letter would be nice to at least know what's going on!

I just called the nursing department and she said that if you haven’t heard a call then you weren’t selected for the spring semester. She also said if your application looked ok then to wait for a letter to be placed in a random pool selection.

Thanks for the info!

Has anyone heard anything besides those that got notified of acceptance?

I finally called to ask what was going on and then received a letter like a week later saying I was placed in the random pool selection. Did you hear back on your application? And does anyone know if they actually select people from the random pool or if the application just sits there for 2 years without us being able to reapply??? So disappointing ?

Did anyone hear do any online science prerequisites that successfully transferred them? I want to start my prerequisites ASAP I’m looking into portage, New Mexico junior college, and edukan While I wait for a counseling appointment but maybe you all can answer thatWhile I wait for a counseling appointment but maybe you all can answer that
