i started working as a new grad rn and sad to say im not enjoying my job anymore bec, of the poor management. nurse pt ratio is 1:9, sometimes they forced us to take IMC patients with no cna, workload isnt fair. i know pts were not happy either bec we were not always around when they need us, call lights werent asnwered as quickly as possible. im planning to look for another job but most of the qualification is to must have atleast 1 yr experience. i honestly dont want to wait 5 more months bec some unfortunate events might happen with that kind of practice in our facility.

@ spongebob6286: i know that feeling. i used to work at this facility with a ratio of 1:20 with some help from cna & lvns. i quit after couple of months. i have no regrets in quitting because i felt that my license was at stake. so my message to you, pro: you keep your job in this hard economy. con: you're unhappy, stress, and license-at-stake. its your choice.
