Hello i will be moving to montgomery in august..I have been taking my preqs here in jackson, ms..hoping to get in the local community college rn program...I have not got a reply yet..but guess it does not really matter because thanks to the old hubby we are moving to montgomery...what community college in that are provides a two year program..I saw troy university has a two year program..but i am trying to do this the most cost effective way possible!!Please help..I don't want to wait another year or two...trying to apply for this fall or even spring 2010! thanks

Virginia College it the cheap ADN program.. however, it may be more money, but check out AUM BSN program, it's extremely difficult and very highly rated.

the 2 year program at troy montgomery is not very expensive. not much more than a junior college i think. i don't know if the virginia college program is fully accredited or not... the troy program is definitely very challenging but if you are dedicated definitely doable. i graduate in december. good luck!
i looked at the troy program, but they require pre-cal as a prereq, so that pretty much messed me up...
is the 2 year program at troy during the day or at night? do you know of any night programs in that area?
