Hello future MC nursing students! I decided to create this post/topic for us to share information about our journey!
Please feel free to ask each other questions and let's share information to help each other out!
I'll go first ? does anyone know how we can submit our nursing application if the admissions office is closed?
Have you taken the TEAS?
and btw there will be a zoom information session on July 6th at 4:00 pm.

Finally, what do you suggest we work on prior to starting the first semester? Good luck on your journey!
The required books can be purchases as either or, its really up to you and your personal preference. I use a combination of both. Care plans are taught during fundamentals lab, they teach you all you need to know for them. I would recommend enjoying your free time before nursing school. Then when you get into nursing school take it a day at a time. They really teach you nursing from the ground up... The best advice I would give incoming students: use time management tools (planners, calendars, logs) to organize your workload, school work and "life".

Will do and thank you for your feedback!
Hi everyone! I just found this place:) I'm going to mc Spring 2021!
Question: I just got my uniform and the top is so long (I'm 5'1). Am I allowed to get it altered to be shorter? It's almost to my knees and it looks crazy! I don't even know how that would work, but they don't have petite sizes:(

I don't know but I have to get it altered. It looks unprofessional the way it is. I also got a small. Fits fine around but is so long.

This is my 1st semester and its Virtual. However, we are required to wear the tops or lab jacket during clinical and Health Assessment Lab. They are strict about purchasing the uniform from the company given, however, I don't think they will care if u alter it if its too long.
