Hello future MC nursing students! I decided to create this post/topic for us to share information about our journey!

Please feel free to ask each other questions and let's share information to help each other out!

I'll go first ? does anyone know how we can submit our nursing application if the admissions office is closed?

Have you taken the TEAS?

and btw there will be a zoom information session on July 6th at 4:00 pm.

Hello @Eliza2020 ?

I’m planning to apply for the nursing program at MC in the Spring 2021! If I finally pass the TEAS on July. It will be my third time taking it. On page 3 of the application package right under the signature line, it says the address where you can submit the application. Have you taken the TEAS yet?

I will be applying for Spring 21 as well! I just finished Pathophysiology so I’m done all the prerequisites now. I plan to send my application by the end of this week.

Hi Tatiana! good luck on your TEAS, sorry I took so long to respond! I shut myself completely from everything in order to study for the TEAS, I actually just took it today, it went well so now I will fill out my application and hopefully get accepted for Spring 2021! and thanks, I will look for the adress where you said.

Congratulations on passing the TEAS!! I have been studying a lot too; I am taking the TEAS in two on the 30th. Hopefully, I pass!!

Did you receive your school transcripts? I finally received mine yesterday. I'm taking pathophysiology in the fall semester. Is it easy?

Good luck on the TEAS @Tatiana Berrios ! You will pass! Yes I received all my transcripts thankfully. I took the 4 week Patho class so it was stressful because a lot of assignments were due at once. The material was not that hard tho. We did the whole class using an access code we had to buy. We had two papers which were easy because the professor let us choose our main focus. Who are you taking it with?

Btw @Tatiana Berrios @zbarrie I did not know we have to take patho ? I know there is patho in the nursing program but do we have to take it before that? And may I ask what Patho are you guys taking?

The only reason you have to take Patho is if BIOL212 & 213 are older than 5 years of the application deadline date. My BIOL 212 was taken in 2014 so I had to take Patho. I took it with Alex Micich.

Hello ladies!!

I took the TEAS yesterday for the third time and I didn’t pass it; my overall score improved a little from 58.7 to 62%. My reading score increased from 55 to 59 but I’m still very far from 70 ?. Now I have to wait an entire year to take it again.
